[Video] 50 Cent Eager to Work With Frank Ocean!!

50 Cent is apparently eager to hit the studio with Frank Ocean after listening to the Odd Future crooner’s vocals on his recent album ‘Channel Orange,’ and expressed his respect for the signer’s talent. Although he struggled to name another artist that he would like to collaborate with, Fif indicated that he’d be interested in connecting with Rihanna for a track.

Fif explained that what impressed him about Frank Ocean’s music was his tracks that don’t focus on relationships. “I’d want to work with Frank Ocean. It’s just content now. Because you just left that fresh on people’s minds, now what is the song about? You know what I’m saying? When you did ‘Novocane’ it wasn’t a love record. It was dope, just the music, the content. A lot of times people in the R&B cling to love. I get really excited when they make really strong efforts that don’t actually have love involved, or relationship-based content,” Fiddy told Digital Spy.

Fiddy also reasserted his views on Ocean’s sexuality pointing out that several R&B singers have been open about their lifestyles in the past. “He’s cool. The ‘Novocane’ record was dope. I think If you have a problem with Frank Ocean you should have had a problem with Luther Vandross. You should have had a problem with Kenny Green. It’s not the first time a male R&B artist chose an alternative lifestyle,” Fif said.

50 Cent added that he feels he needs to record at least one song with Rihanna before he hits retirement. “Rihanna, I haven’t done anything with her. I got to do something before I’m finished,” said Fif.
